The most weirdo competition was called out at the end of last year. The task was to come up with an architectural idea for gingerbread houses. Don’t ask us for the reason why, but we thought we just gotta support this nuts idea. So we came up with a gingerbread task force who did the job. The result was quite OK. We didn’t win a thing but had great fun.

At this years christmas party the staff had to sing. Thanks to the SONY entertainment sector we spend all night at this bloody game console. Anyway. After a few drinks we all had massive fun. Check out the documetry:

At every end of the year in the netherlands we have some nice days to celebrate. Especially at SINTERKLAAS everybody in the Ned’s goes completely crazy. It’s the 5th of December where some people dress up in fancy traditional clothes, so that the streets are full of the so called ZWARTE PEETES and in the evening the presents are brought to you by Sinterclaas and his helpers… But before you get a little poem which was – of course – written by sinterklaas. As a whole this day in the Netherlands is even more loved by the children and bigger celebrated than christmas.
Unfortunately we were not able to celebrate this event big enough at this day, so we decided to have sinterclaas and christmas combined in one day – As you can see, we had a loads of fun on our boat. By the way, if you tell us, that there is no Santa, we don’t care, because we know that Sint is living for sure!

Don’t ask why, but Totems was asked to participate in an architecture competition constructing houses made of gingerbread. It sounds weird to ya? Well, it even sounded crazy to us. Nevertheless, we accepted the challenge and came up with two designs…

Chris (Totems) and Andreas (Elastique.) held a keynote at the FH Düsseldorf inspiring and motivating the offspring. The keynote was all about how to get ideas and showed the way from the first sketch to the final design. The students loved it. After the keynote the DJ duo “Tanzt ihr Affen” performed a fabulous set.
