Robert (the one and only) leaves Totems to study multimedia design in America. He decided to continue his studies and scouts for new talents overseas. Maybe he is the new commander of Totems USA???

Actually it is no big big deal if a design studio gets a new printer. But this time it took three experts to get this thing moving.

This years ADC (Art Directors Club) local award ceremony and party took place in a new location: the city hall of Stuttgart. An excellent choice! Located right in the city center with a huge outdoor terrace on top of the building – perfect for a great summer party. The ADC honors the most outstanding, creative and innovative solutions in advertisement. In this years awards we discovered some fakes, plagiarism and some ideas which aren’t innovative at all. Anyway! This is my call to the next years jury to pay more attention!

The party itself was great. Meeting very nice people: such as Marion with her husband Tono and christine from Milla & Partner. Great folks!

This is Chris: Drunk, pissed, shit faced, wasted… This was the end!

See Achim, Robert and Frank discussing the new facade for the German Pavilion in Zaragoza. Frank was pissed off because of all the theoretical debating stuff, that’s why he came up with this prototype. We call him MacGyver! He comes up with solutions in no time. Just does it!

This is Ivan with his counterpart! Ivan actually belongs to the Totems staff since ever… This dude always comes along bare-footed – no matter what weather it is or how cold or hot it is. STRANGE – but that’s why we also love him. In his real life Ivan is the companies innovator. He builds everything: from small scale to large scale fair stands, event architecture, furniture, … you name it.

Today Mathilde and David prepared lunch. Obviously they were sick of european food…
that’s why they came up with a Japanese delicacy: Sushi! Great choice, but it took ages to cook that stuff. After 2 hours of slicing and rolling they finally served the food… Lekker!
