It’s already 4 months ago that Totems established a new office in Düsseldorf, Germany. It’s a strategic decision to set up this new office right here: it’s between the middle of our offices in Stuttgart and Amsterdam, it’s close to the Dutch boarder and it’s in the centre of West Germany; the region of Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine – Westphalia)

- >18 million inhabitants
- Contributes about 22% of Germany’s gross domestic product
- Land area of 34,083 km²

Düsseldorf is not only widely known as a centre of the German advertising and fashion industries; in the last few years the city has become one of the top telecommunications centres in Germany.

Also important newspapers and journals such as Handelsblatt, Rheinische Post, Wirtschaftswoche, Deutsches Wirtschaftsblatt and VDI-Nachrichten are published in Düsseldorf. Almost all of these papers are available online on the Internet. Renowned filmmaking companies, such as Germany’s biggest cinema enterprise, the Riech-Group, and TV channels such as WDR, ZDF, and QVC solidify Düsseldorf’s position as a media centre.

Well, this explains why Düsseldorf is a logic decision with lots of opportunities. Also some of our clients are based close to this region and now we’re able to work more efficient on their projects.
