After TEN years of being successful in business, Totems finally managed to organise a receipt stamp (Eingangsstempel).

Last wednesday Carola, Fabian, Jean-Louis and Chris went on an excursion to Germany’s largest amusement park near Freiburg. We didn’t go their for fun – it was serious business! We had meetings with the engineers who build the water-ride for the German Pavillion at the 2008 Expo in Zaragoza. The discussions went really well, we solved many problems and since we had a pretty efficient meeting, there was time enough to enjoy the rest of the day.

Last weekend former colleague Michael invited some Totems staff to his party. Somewhere in the woods between Cologne and Düsseldorf. The party was located in an old barn, with an amazing band and sexy Go-go girls. What a pleasure. Even if the band name sounds very adventurous (Sound Convoy), they definetly cheered up the party people. We all got pretty much wasted but had lots of fun. Great party Michael. Thanx

Another highlight was the “Youth hostel”. Usually design studios tell you anything about the newest 5-star design hotels. But we prefer the more down-to-earth accommodations. And this backpacker sure was an event. Our suggestion: Don’t always choose these stylish hostels – try new things and make the best out of it. It makes you more aware whats goining on in real life. Trust me!

A boys life can sometimes be like a torture. Finn (Uli’s youngest son) was accompanied by two girls. They had nothing better to do than putting him pigtails into his hair. And like you can see: he definetly hated it! We understand you, Finn! If you plan a revenge – call us! We’ll help ya.

We know designers from many car comapnies. But no one ever did come up with such a cool idea. Let’s call it action design! Unfortunaltely we don’t know the designer. Life would be way more exciting if cars looked like this. What a shame!

We don’t know… are they frustrated, hungry or bored? But these there chicks definetly have one thing in common: they love food. Too bad that Achim took a snap shot of their really weirdo spare time.

This is the brand new product of Mario and Martina: Pia Greta Pistorius. A two weeks old baby with his 34 year old godfather Chris (by the way: this was the first time ever holding a baby that way). Pia main activities are sleeping and eating. Amazing: a real human in an ultra small size. Truly astonishing. Anyway: Pia we all wish ya a great life!

Nice idea of showing what a bloody car does to us. A very simple idea with a clear message. Great work, whoever did it!

It is up to you: A) order one more beer with your left money or B) call a cab! That’s what I asked myself yesterday night. The answer was easy: I went for another drink and then “called a bike”. Pretty cool thing. Call a number at the bike park and enjoy a cheaper, way more healthier and absolute CO2 free ride home.
